I can't add more than one charater to a story. Is it possible for me to change this?

First off, delete your install!
And have you tried holding shift (or control, I forget which exactly) when clicking?

ok, there is no need to yell "Delete you're install!" I've done that a long time ago. I'm been running three efiction sites for weeks now and deleting my install is something I did the first day I installed. What? IDK how clicking the crtl button is going to solve my problem. And doing that when clicking doesn't do anything. Did you even read what my problem was?

It looks like maybe you're not reading/understanding what AnarchicQ is saying. The way to multiple select things in any of those boxes is to hold down the ctrl key (Windows/Linux) and I believe the Apple key on Mac. This is pretty standard stuff, not just for efiction. If for some reason multiple characters are not being submitted to the database, that's different. If that's the case, please fill out the support request template like you are meant to.

I have close to 200 charaters in my charater box. And the crtl button, takes a while i guess.
Maybe I should post this in my profile, because people are seeming to not realize it. I'm not even 18! I'm no computer wiz and the "standard stuff" to me, isn't standard so you can stop treating me like an expert.
And yes, I didn't understand what Anarchic was saying. Maybe if Anarchic had explained it better instead of yelling "Delete your install folder!" than I would have understood.

Please provide a link to your archive. In fact, you'll get much better help if you fill out the support request template stickied at the top of the forum.
I would also suggest you remember the saying "you get more bees with honey than vinegar." Getting snippy with the people trying to help isn't likely to make them want to continue to help you.

I've never heard that saying. Not once in my life has anyone ever told me that. I've heard plenty of other sayings but not that one. And I am not getting "snippy" with the people who are trying to help me. There is no need for anyone to keep helping me since this problem is solved and has been solved even before you posted you're last reply. It seems to me that everyone here gets "snippy" with the newcomers to efiction and gets away with it (and I'm not saying I was being snippy.) I have seen about a hundred threads on this site were users were being "snippy" to those that didn't know much about computers and who were kindly asking for help.

I did not mean to come across as yelling. To have the install still up is a huge security risk and I was just trying to let you know that it's urgent. That's all.
I see that you've changed it to Maintenance mode, so that's good.

ok.....well the site i have listed in my profile isn't the site I was asking help for. It was actually my spyo fanfiction site that I was seeking help for. I have two sites and the reason SUTM is listen in my profile is because it was the first site I created.

If you don't want people to try to keep helping you, I suggest you edit your first post and mark the subject line as [SOLVED]. That way we'll know to skip over your post.
(You do realize you're being snippy in your last post, right?)
