Some authors on the authors list aren’t listed, and I don’t have any idea, why? Usually the end of the list.
Today registered a user whose name is starting with the letter „f”, and this user shows up in the beginning of the author list, befor the latter „a”.
Has anyone any idea, what the problem could be?
Some months ago I tried to update efiction (from 3.5.2), but the update failed. I made backup files, but I probably messed up something with the database, and now the co-author function isn’t working. I think the problem is with the database, maybe I have wrong table of coauthors, but I don’t know exactly. Where can I find any information about how is the co-author table set up?

You can see the structure for the tables in install.php or in tables.sql (in the docs folder). It sounds like the botched install might be creating some problems. See if you can get it updated and if that doesn't fix the problem. From update.php it looks like there are some updates to the inseries table between 3.5.2 and 3.5.3.
For the names, it could be possible that the name starting in F is theoretically some other character rather than the actual F. That's just a wild guess, though. It would help to see your site. Please fill out the support request template: https://efiction.org/forums/index.php?topic=6319.0
