Hi,

URL to your eFiction:
http://www.sailormoonfiction.com/revolution/index.php and
http://www.sailormoonfiction.com/transition/index.php

Version of eFiction:  3.5.2
Have you bridged eFiction, if so with what?:  no
Version of PHP: 5.2.12
Version of MySQL: 5.0.91-community-log
Have you searched for your problem: yes
If so, what terms did you try: export, append to another database, transfer database
State the nature of your problem:

I have one site that is running two efiction databases :

http://www.sailormoonfiction.com/revolution/index.php

and

http://www.sailormoonfiction.com/transition/index.php
There was a logic to why I set up two, but for the life of me I can't remember  πŸ™„ πŸ™„

Both database are running 3.5.2 - can I append the contents of database 2 (transition) onto database 1 (revolution) ? I thought it would be fairly simple, but I suddenly realised the unique author/story ID maight cause a problem ..... πŸ˜₯

I wanted some advise before I do something dramatic and *&$* up my site  πŸ™„

Now in my 11th fiction filled year !!

No you can't for exactly the reason you assumed.  The id numbers (story, chapter, author, etc.) would become mixed.
