I have just installed efiction for the first time and everytime I submit a new story from an author or an admin account, the story appears in a preview and says its submitted but then there is no evidence of the story existing on the actually website..what am i doing wrong?
First, when submitting a help request, please use the support request template stickied at the top of this forum. Without the information in that template, we're just guessing and wasting your time and our own. Also read the READ THIS BEFORE POSTING message. If you follow the instructions in both of those documents the majority of the time you'll figure it out for yourself. Read the Wiki as well. Your problem is one that is common but can have a couple of different causes.
1. Have you set your archive to automatically accept submissions. If not, the story will not display until you have approved it through the validation queue.
2. If you set your archive to store the text of the stories in files, you may not have the folder and permissions set correctly.
