Not so much a request for support as a question:

I wonder, is there a way that one could add a page/section to a user's profile/account that would show what fics they've read, who they were by and at what chapter they stopped? Nothing fancy, just something after the nature of anidb's mylist or some such. Thanks.

So far as I know, there is nothing that does this currently.

It would be absolutely fantastic to have something like that. And I think it has been discussed before - without result apparently:(

Maybe it'll help to look at the Tracker mod and work from there? It does part what you want. At least it might give you ideas, I guess!

Or you could have a look at what AOOO is doing. I think they have a feature like that (they have a reading history at least).

That's pretty much what I need, a member reading history. I'd want to add it to the person's profile so they and others could kep up with things πŸ™‚

I know someone who modified the tracker module to display to the user what chapter they left off on. She seemed to do it in a fairly short time frame, so I would guess it's pretty easy. This was only so that it's being displayed to the user in question, however, and only when they actually track the story.

You'll also want to keep in mind that not everyone will feel comfortable with this info being displayed publicly, so making it anonymous for the viewer or an opt in/out would probably be a good idea.

Hm. I'm not really worried with the actual last-chapterinfo so much as just a simple reader's history..

And as far as comfort, our TOS states that all a user's stats or info will be publicly accessable to other visitors, with the exception of email addresses. They agree to that or they don't sign up.
