URL to your eFiction: http://www.fictioning.net/
Version of eFiction: 3.5.1 (I think)
Have you bridged eFiction, if so with what?: No
Version of PHP: 5
Version of MySQL: Not sure
Have you searched for your problem: yes
If so, what terms did you try: fatal MySQL error
State the nature of your problem:  A fatal MySQL error was encountered.
It appears no applicable database functionality for PHP has not been enabled in the php configuration for this website. Please consult the PHP documentation or ask your hosting provider.
Do you have a test account for us? Not yet, but I can

No upgrades, not even a story added in the last few days. It was working yesterday.

I've "repaired" the database, checked it via phpMyAdmin and it's there and it looks fine. As does the user that is attached (in the config file).

I'm stumped by this. I'm going to try creating a new database and importing the old stuff. I've also logged a ticket with the host (Bluehost - who I am seriously starting to dislike)

Edited to add: Hmm. Weird. I can't import the old DB into a new DB.

It's a bluehost error.  From the error it seems like they've got php compiled on your server without mysql support.

Thanks Tammy. They've told me they're "upgrading".

I'm looking at VPS hosting now...and not at Bluehost.
