If you've been around for a while, you know how important it is to keep your installation up-to-date. Many of the new releases are to fix security vulnerabilities found in the script. The other updates are to fix bugs which you may be reporting here as support issues.
There are two ways to make sure you're always running the current version of eFiction. The first is to use the Version Check feature, and it'll tell you if you're up-to-date.

An aside note, is that we've changed the way we're naming versions for 3.0 so that the version check feature will work properly. The releases will have three numbers. New releases with minor bug fixes will have the third number changed (for example, 3.0.1). Releases with security patches or major bug fixes will have the second number changed (for example 3.1.0). Hope this clarifies things.
