At our website we want to add You Tube videos to story panels and on the profile pages. The tiny MCE editor allows us to do it on the index/home page but not any where else.

Is there some code there we can alter to allow this feature? What is blocking it from happening?

Please tell me exactly how we can make this possible for our members to enjoy.

There's a setting in the admin settings labeled "Alllowed HTML" add the html tags for the youtube videos to that.  FYI, that will make your site vulnerable to hacking as you're allowing unsecure content.

Thank you Tammy but I can't find the "Allow HTML" in settings. I have version 3.5.1 if that makes a difference.

I'm also having trouble determining what are the youtube html tags I will need to put in there. Do you know exactly what they are?

thanks for your help,
bob

It's Admin > Settings > Site Settings. Tag might be iframe, but I'm not really sure what you're trying to do.

Thank you for answering but <iframe> didn't work there.
We are trying to allow youtube videos anywhere on our website: profile page, story panels, stories, etc.
Presently you can only place a youtube on the home/index page.
All the other tinyMCE editors dumps the youtube html embed code.

It's Admin > Settings > Site Settings. Tag might be iframe, but I'm not really sure what you're trying to do.

The admin area will let you add anything you want.  You'll need to look at the code youtube gives you for what you need to add.  It's possibly <object> and <param>.

Thank you very much! That worked perfectly. One more question please.

I need to block videos in the now graphic free CSSZen skin while allowing them to exist in Zenlike. Is there a way you see how to do that?

We truly appreciate your help with this.
