I tried installing a mod then this showed up on my main page but not seen on others:

Warning: include_once(modules/recommendations/languages/en.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/emtobser/public_html/fanatiscribbles/eFiction34/modules/betareader/stats.php on line 29

Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening 'modules/recommendations/languages/en.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/emtobser/public_html/fanatiscribbles/eFiction34/modules/betareader/stats.php on line 29

I immediately went to uninstall the mod but then this showed up:

A fatal MySQL error was encountered.
Query: DELETE FROM `fanfiction_modules` WHERE code_module = 'Beta-Reader List'
Error: (1054) Unknown column 'code_module' in 'where clause'

How do I fix this?

I'm pretty new at this and it literally took me like 2 weeks to figure out how to add links to the menu bar.

My other question is...how do I connect a forum to my site so that when people register is automatically matches up, so they don't have to registered again for the forum besides my efic site?

Any help would be appreciated...

Sincerely,
Dazed & Confuzzled

I don't know the answer for the first thing - but reference bridging your efiction to your smf...

First make sure that you have both your efiction and smf in the same mysql database.

One you do that - you should still have the efiction files you downloaded,if not - just re-download and unzip.
Look for the "Bridges" folder.
There's an SMF folder in the Bridges folder with a bunch of files, including a "Read Me" text file.

The ReadMe files gives step by step instructions as far as where to upload each file and what needs to be modified..

It should be relatively painless.

edit: Oh yeah - I gave info for SMF because I went to your site and that's what I saw there.  πŸ™‚

I'm here...

If you could tell us what mod you tried installing/what files were editted so we can take a look at them it would be a helpful, I'm assuming you tried to install the Beta Reader mod?  Also if you could please fill out the Support Request Template, it would help us a bit.

If you take a look around at the other mods, there are some other bridges in development for forum software besides SMF, but if you're using it you can use the included bridge as  mikodragonfly said.
