URL to your eFiction:  thetightrope.org
Version of eFiction: 3.5.1
Have you bridged eFiction, if so with what?: Nope, it's a brand-spanking new installation. Pure as the driven snow.
Version of PHP: PHP5, I believe.
Version of MySQL: 5
Have you searched for your problem: Yes
If so, what terms did you try: warning, warning feature
State the nature of your problem: Basically, this is a post for information. My domain got hacked and I lost all my archive, so I'm starting from scratch with the new version. When I was going through, trying to reset everything by memory, I couldn't find a feature that I really enjoyed from previous versions. I was running version 2 point something. In addition to have Ratings (G, R and so forth), it had a Warnings option.  I'm not talking about the option to have a Warning box pop up, but something you set up very similarly to the Ratings. That way if someone interested in reading an R-rated story could see if the rating was due to drugs, sex, violence or whatever, and that way they could decide if they wanted to chance the rating (I encouraged my authors to rate for safety).

I ask only because I really loved that feature, and it helped my archive run more smoothly. I went through my Admin panel twice, just clicking through every page, but I didn't see it. Is it not there, or am I just blind?

Do you have a test account for us? No, but if it's really important, I can copy all my files to a second location

I apologize in advance if I've missed something. I ran a search, but most of my return queries were about the ratings function, and the warning pop-up box. If I am duplicating a topic, I am sorry to have wasted your time!

Yep, it's there, but it's slightly different. You're looking for Classifications. For instance, some of my classifications are Genre and Warnings, which got ported over from my previous install of 2.0.7. Just create the type of classification that you want, then once it's created you get to define what you want to be in that type by clicking on its name.  Also, instead of having to add like {genre} and {warnings} to skins (which you can totally do if you want), you can now put only {classifications} and all of the classifications will show up.

Ooooh. Okay. Sorry! I love eFiction, and almost everytime I need help, it's because I don't know how to use it properly!

Thank you so much for your help!
