URL to your eFiction: http://chasethemorning.com
Version of eFiction: 3.5
Have you bridged eFiction, if so with what?: no
Version of PHP: PHP5
Version of MySQL: SQL 5.0
Have you searched for your problem: yes
If so, what terms did you try: "no space between story notes and story" and "story notes"
State the nature of your problem: When I post a story that has story or chapter notes (example: http://chasethemorning.com/viewstory.php?sid=2 ), there is nothing to differentiate the end of the story notes from the beginning of the fic.  I'm not well-versed in PHP and wouldn't know where to look to try to add this.  How can I get some sort of divider between the story and chapter notes and the fic itself?
Do you have a test account for us? no

You don't have to know php to do that. Add this to your style.css (anywhere, but I'd put it at the bottom just in case):

.notes {padding-bottom: 6px; margin-bottom: 6px;  border-bottom: 1px solid #666;}

This will add a 1px border at under the notes the same color as the text. Adjust the space between the bottom of the notes and the line by changing the padding; adjust the space between the bottom of the line and the start of story text by adjusting the margin.

Quick question for Carissa: is .notes another hard-coded class?  (Should it also appear here: https://efiction.org/wiki/index.php5?title=Style.css?)

No, it comes from a tpl file. The hard-coded classes come from php files.

I just viewed the source to get the class name.
