URL to your eFiction: http://xquisite.freehostia.com/
Version of eFiction: 3.2.1
Have you bridged eFiction, if so with what?: I don't know.
Version of PHP: 4.40
Version of MySQL: 4.1.11
Have you searched for your problem: No
State the nature of your problem: I'm having various problems regarding efiction. When I'm logged in as Admin, I can see the updates and everything, but when I log out, the 'home' is redirected to maintence and it says how the site is still under maintence, thank you and all that. Also, when I submit a story, it doesn't show up. I can't start a challenge, because apparently, I'm restricted (even when I'm logged in as Admin). Do I reinstall efiction or did I for get something?
Do you have a test account for us? No

The Maintenance fix should be nice and easy.
Login as admin and then go to your admin area

admin>settings>site settings
and set Maintenance to NO

that shoudl get your site back to active mode.

Your submissions maybe because you have to validate them. Check in your admin area again and look for submissions to see if they are waiting in a validation queue. If you have your submissions settings set to
automatically validate = NO, then nothing will show up until they are validated thru the submission queue.

why is nothing ever easy?

Also make sure you have the challenges module installed. There is a separate install you have to run for it. Other than that, I don't know much about it.
