State the nature of your problem: Upgrading from 3.3.1 to 3.5.1. All files uploaded and went to my site in the browser and was hit with :
A fatal MySQL error was encountered.
Query: SELECT author.penname as penname, co.uid FROM fanfiction_coauthors AS co LEFT JOIN fanfiction_authors as author ON co.uid = author.uid WHERE co.sid = '119'
Error: (1146) Table 'sailormo_fiction.fanfiction_coauthors' doesn't exist
I didn't get a chance to run any update/upgrade script as it jumped straight to the error without giving me any other option. I tried running the update.php but that did nothing.It's been a while since I had a tinker on my site so any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂
Now in my 11th fiction filled year !!
It says the table fanfiction_coauthors doesn't exist. Try creating it manually and then running the update. The structure of it can be found in install/install.php.
HI, I created the table manually and then got an error saying the table already existed !!! So I commented out the create coauthors section in the update file and it now works !!
