URL to your eFiction: http://www.trackbunnies.org
Version of eFiction: 3.3
Have you bridged eFiction, if so with what?: no
Version of PHP: 4.4.4
Version of MySQL: 4.1.21-standard
Have you searched for your problem: (yes)
If so, what terms did you try: "challenge 3.3 blank"
State the nature of your problem:  I updated from 3.2 to 3.3 yesterday and everything seemd to be fine until my friend told me today that the challenges page is blank ( http://www.trackbunnies.org/modules/challenges/challenges.php) and I've checked and the module is installed still and it worked before the upgrade yesterday.

Hmm. Mine is working.

http://www.potionsandsnitches.net/fanfiction/browse.php?type=challenges

Are the challenges info still in the database? What did you upgrade from? Did you click on the "update" link afterwards.

Did you reupload the challenges module?

I upgraded from 3.2 (it's in the subject lol)

My site is down right now but I believe the challenges are still in the database... at least I have a backup of them from the mysql database I did before I upgraded.

Yep, I've reuploaded it twice (the second time to make sure everything uploaded okay)

The update went through okay without any problems and I thought everything was fine and then I was told there was no challenge page... that it was empty.

But the weird thing is... if the challenges were all gone... even like the "issue challenge" thing isn't up there.

The database IS empty for challenges...  (I have them on the backup) but even the "submit a challenge" isn't on the page.

Anybody know?

All I can suggest is upload the module for challenges again. Maybe something didn't overwrite the first time around. I don't use challenges, so I'm not sure what else to tell you.

I uninstalled it.... deleted the challenges table from mysql... reuploaded it and reinstalled it and the page is still blank... there's nothing in the challenges folder (although it DID recreate it) and that's it... it didn't create anything else.

There has to be an error SOMEWHERE within the main challenges directory that's making the content to not show up on the page b/c I reuploaded the 3.2 that is on my backstreet efiction site and the challenge page shows up fine but when you click the link it says I don't have access to it...

You didn't upload the new challenges files.  You've got the 3.2 version of challenges.php.

No... I did upload 3.3 but that was giving me a blank page... so I re-uploaded 3.2 and it's giving me the correct page but you can't access anything.

It didn't take the upload then because that's the 3.2 version of challenges.php.  I can tell from the debug information.

Well when it was blank the first time and I made the thread, I completely deleted the challenge folder and reuploaded the 3.3 and still nothing happened. I'm reinstalled, uninstalled, prayed lol

I'm not sure what to do. I'll go reupload the 3.3 files

I suggest that you redownload the 3.3 zip. Delete the challenges folder in your current download (local files) AND on your server (remote). Then unzip, replace and reupload. Reinstall.

If it doesn't work, leave it so that we can see it.
