URL to your eFiction: http://fifthcellar.freehostia.com/
Version of eFiction: 3.3
Have you bridged eFiction, if so with what?: No.
Version of PHP: 4.4.0 (I think)
Version of MySQL: 4.1.11 (I think)
Have you searched for your problem: Yes
If so, what terms did you try: classification, error, 35
Have you looked at the FAQs: Yes, but I could not find anything to address this
State the nature of your problem: Searching for terms which should have hits returns a page with the number 35
ETA: I've set up a test account: user:testing, pass: testing
After populating my classifications and character lists, I have found that any attempt to click on either a category, classification, character, or even the "advanced search" screen results in a page that is merely the number 35 at the top left. The source shows no html at all, only the 35. However, if you select a category/character/anything that has no hits (there's just my one test story up right now), you get the "no results found" screen. I'm not sure where to start fixing this, since I know nothing about php. I could find no help topics about classification errors or this "35" business.
Some pages which show the error:
http://fifthcellar.freehostia.com/browse.php?type=characters&charid=19
http://fifthcellar.freehostia.com/browse.php?type=ratings&rating=1
http://fifthcellar.freehostia.com/search.php?searchtype=advanced
ETA: It also does this when I attempt to edit my story ( http://fifthcellar.freehostia.com/stories.php?action=editstory&sid=1&admin=1).
Thanks for your help!
Update: Okay, this is really weird. Due to some meddling on my part, I was forced to delete and re-install. All went well until I tried to set up the warnings table through the admin function (as in, not manually or anything). Any attempt to do this results in the "35" screen. I have tried making bogus classifications, naming it "beware" instead of "warning," making a "warning" classification with random elements, and that works. What I *cannot* do is make a list of naughty things.
Is it at all possible that freehostia is blocking my attempt to put words like "bdsm" and "rape" into their mysql database? Is that remotely possible?
I really would appreciate any insight. Please tell me if I can give you any information that would help solve this.
I don't know why, however, I notice if I change your skin to Irish moss that When you are in Search this error message appears:
Notice: Undefined variable: loggedin in /home/www/fifthcellar.freehostia.com/skins/IrishMoss/variables.php on line 19
That might help out someone here who might know what's going on.

I believe, as I read in another topic, that's due to my "debug" setting being on. I turned it off, and that problem is gone. I only turned it on to see if it would help with the "35" thing. I have no idea if they're related.
Update:
In an effort to see if the story itself (or the adding of it) had screwed things up, I deleted it. So some of those links up there aren't going to show up anymore. Now, I cannot even add a story--it goes to "35" ( http://fifthcellar.freehostia.com/stories.php?action=newstory). Same with Advanced Search ( http://fifthcellar.freehostia.com/search.php?searchtype=advanced).
Maybe I need to deleted everything and install again; but I'd rather know first whether that seems likely or if anyone knows what might be going on, and how my install got corrupted. Otherwise, I'm afraid the same thing will happen again.
Don't delete everything, but I would suggest just uploading most of the major folders again (don't upload the install, or tinymce, or bridge if you aren't using a bridge). There seems to be something amiss somewhere. Sometimes just re-upping the folders will fix weird problems like this one. (or my favorite, download another copy of efiction from here and re-upload those folders [minus the ones I mentioned]). It's such a weird problem I can't help but wonder if maybe some folder got corrupt somewhere.

Good idea; I'll give that a try. Thanks!
