I have been trying but it still elusive to me. I'll probably asking for my general archive than personal but I want to know if this can be done.
Under stories in my profile.php I have a list of stuff I want you to see and I have a line for Last Updated: I have the date of my last post which was Oct 12, 2007 in the stories section of my profile. I have been trying to get the last date when I have updated a story in my profile page. I thought maybe naively {updated} would be as well but nope!
Smaller question: Is there a way to reset the read counts?

There is no update date stored for the author. Update information is only stored for the story. To do what you're asking you'll need to write it.
