Not sure if this is a bug question or just a general question, but here goes. First off archive is running fine! No issues to it not working and second, I did a search of the forums but didn't find anything relating to this.
I decided to install efiction under wamp on my main comp so I could mess with the skins and such with out having to actively touch my archive. The install went fine. I went to my archive and did a back up of the database and the script so I could port it over to my install on my computer.
I had issues when i imported the DB into phpmyadmin on local machine. I started looking and realized that my archive at my webhost, under phpmyadmin, had 26 tables in it compared to the fresh install of 24 tables.
Image 1 and Image 1a show whats listed in phpmyadmin. This is an upgraded archive from 2.0 through various upgrades to 3.1.1.
and
I have two settings tables in there. The following images refer whats in the two tables and that's where the issue came in when importing the data to the localhost (which i fixed just by exporting the tables that was needed instead of the entire DB. It couldn't import it correctly.)
Image 3
is the data in fanfiction_settings and Image 4
is the information contained in fanfictionfanfiction_settings table.
Under the fresh install I did, I just have one settings table with the information that is seen in Image 4.
My question is this - Is this just the result of a previous upgrade not quite working properly but not really an issue since everything still works fine? Will I have any issues (even though none for now) in the future due to the duped table?
Thanks
Chiza
It's left over information from 1.1. Delete it.
