URL to your eFiction: http://fandom.myinterests.com
Version of eFiction:3.5.1
Have you bridged eFiction, if so with what?:SMF
Version of PHP: 5.2.3
Version of MySQL: 4.1.22-standard
Have you searched for your problem: yes, some are similar but none worked for me
If so, what terms did you try: subcategories, categories
State the nature of your problem: When I try to submit a story, under Category Options, some of my categories do not show their subcategories, like my anime one.  The ones that do show the subcategories the back to main categories does not work.
Do you have a test account for us? Yes I do: UN: test  PW: test

It's something in your categories that's causing a javascript error.  It's returning an illegal character.  It's not in the script.  It's in your categories.

I removed all of the / and : but it didn't make a difference.  Is there a illegal character I am not thinking of?

Thanks again for all of your help.  πŸ™‚

Maybe the dash in Non-Fiction?

I removed the - in nonfiction, but it did not work.  πŸ™

Also, the books category is not working.  Any more ideas on what it could be?

Thanks everyone.

The dash should be fine.  I think it's your books categories...probably a character in there that you can't see.  Edit the category.  Remove all the text from the category name then retrype it.

You're the best!  I actually deleted the entire Books category and it is all fixed.  Thank you very much!
