I have confirmation from at least one member that last Sunday all the images in fanfics showed up fine. However, they now are not. Example of an illustrated story: http://www.gatchfanfic.com/viewstory.php?sid=665
The story path is fine, I’ve looked at the source HTML and don’t see anything glaringly obvious. When I went to “Manage Images” and tried to view one of the images, I received the following error:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@gatchfanfic.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.41 Server at www.gatchfanfic.com Port 80
I’ve checked on the server, and viewed the images just fine, so I know the images are not corrupted. I re-uploaded some of them, but again this made no difference. I have not played with the code since July, so I know it wasn’t me messing around with things and accidentally breaking something. This almost seems like a permission problem, but the permissions all look fine (755 for folders, 644 for the files). Hotlinking is not enabled. Just to be safe, I re-uploaded the Efiction files for the main level and the user, admin and includes folder, but this did not help.
Anyone have any idea of what else to look at?
Julieann
Running 3.4.3 bridged with SMF and Coppermine
Mods: Challenges, cpg-art (not working), Limit Summary Length, Bio to Prefs, Top 20 instead of 10
Wants: Move Betareader to Prefs, Twitter
If you haven't changed anything and they were for sure working the other day, I'd check with your host to see if they've changed any settings. Also, check the permissions on the image folders in the authors account.
