i am so sorry! i feel like I'm constantly on here bugging everyone with all my problems π³
its just that I did this whole "upgrade" to my archive and added all these new mods and stuff *sigh*
so I believe the Story End mod is the one here...
http://nsync-fiction.com/viewstory.php?sid=1161&chapter=21
as you can see, instead of the chapter text, it just says "Array". This is a problem with all last chapters belonging to stories that are part of a series.
its giving me this error (i know you cant see it on the page, I've turned it off via the Admin settings)
Notice: Array to string conversion in /home/nsync908/public_html/nsyncfiction/includes/corefunctions.php on line 207
I checked out the corefunctions.php and on line 205 - 214 its this:
// Formats the text of the story when displayed on screen.
function format_story($text) {
$text = trim($text);
if(strpos($text, "<br>") === false && strpos($text, "<p>") === false && strpos($text, "<br />") === false) $text = nl2br2($text);
if(_CHARSET != "ISO-8859-1" && _CHARSET != "US-ASCII") return stripslashes($text);
$badwordchars = array(chr(212), chr(213), chr(210), chr(211), chr(209), chr(208), chr(201), chr(145), chr(146), chr(147), chr(148), chr(151), chr(150), chr(133));
$fixedwordchars = array('‘', '’', '“', '”', '—', '–', '…', '‘', '’', '“', '”', '—', '–', '…' );
$text = str_replace($badwordchars,$fixedwordchars,stripslashes($text));
return $text;
}
Please help! what can I do to fix this?
Did you upgrade the story end module as well as the basic eFiction?
http://www.hugosnebula.com/downloads/category-14.html
yes ma'am.... I upgrade eFiction last week, and download the module for the first time last week too, I just noticed the error for the first time today.
I found changing the $story variable in storyend.php in modules/storyend to $story1 and my "Array" problem went away.
