URL to your eFiction:  http://lloar.net/fiction/ku
Version of eFiction: 3.2.1
Have you bridged eFiction, if so with what?: No.
Version of PHP: 4.4.4
Version of MySQL: 4.0.25
Have you searched for your problem: Yes, for three hours.
If so, what terms did you try: I search all over the board, read all post regarding stories path, but I found nothing to help my situation.
State the nature of your problem: My stories path is incorrect. It doesn't show the entire path to the stories. I've even re-uploaded a backup copy of the sql, with the actual path in the fanfiction settings, but still nothing happened. I actually upgraded because I had problems with getting the table to work on the previous fanfiction version. The upgrade failed a couple of times, but I somehow made it through. So, now that it's up and running, the only problem I'm having is that the stories are not showing up. My question? How can I fixed the stories path?

I do have a test account, if you require it.

Where do you have the stories? The path should most likely work as "stories" (minus quotes).

I have the stories in the folder named, stories. I'm unsure what you meant about not adding quotes. When I go to the submission settings, it only shows me part of the path. So, I kept trying to add the rest of the path in the stories path field, but after I submit, the changes didn't take effect. I didn't put quotes in there.

-edited--

I feel dumbfounded right now.

I didn't know what you meant until not long ago---regarding adding "stories" without the quote. I did go back and try that and it did change to stories, so when I went to test and add a story, I get error code

A fatal MySQL error was encountered.
Query: SELECT author.uid as uid, author.penname as penname, author.email as email, validated FROM fanfiction_authors as author, fanfiction_authorprefs as ap WHERE author.uid = '39' AND ap.uid = author.uid LIMIT 1
Error: (1052) Column: 'validated' in field list is ambiguous

Then I clicked "delete" and got this: Error! We encountered an error. Please go back and try again. (which is the same error I get when I click on the "Help" link.)
