I just recently uploaded a story less than an hour ago on my site and everything was showing up fine. Now when I click on the category my story is under it is not showing up. No stories what so ever are showing up. I'm not sure if there is something I need to change to get this to work. I searched through the forum for some more info on this problem, but was unsuccessful at finding my solution.

Have you made any changes? Is there something you edited in your skin .tpl files? I get the feeling that it may be a skin problem.
Did you validate the story? If it's not validated it is still sitting in the submission queue waiting for validation. Until it is validated it stays hidden from the public and won't show up under Most Recent, or even the category to which it is assigned.

sorry about the template form thing.
I haven't changed anything intentionally in my skin section. I tried to re upload everything, but it's still not working.
I have in my settings it set to validate all stories. Originally it was working fine.
The stories are definitely there; you can see them in her profile. (Though I haven't registered so I can't see beyond the list.) That's why I think Becca was thinking it was a skinning issue. categories.tpl could be the issue.
