I've locked certain categories but it seems that users can still add stories to them. All of my top level categories are locked and I can still add stories to them (and I tested this as both an admin and a regular user). So then I created a "Test" subcatagory under my "Events" top level and I can still add to that.
I'm wondering if there is some setting that I'm missing. In addition, can admins still add to locked categories?
(Note: Because my site is bridged to SMF, when you logon you'll be taken to the forum front page. Unfortunately because my site is not finished, there is no link back to the efiction section so you'll have to manually go back to the efiction section)

I forgot to post about it,(too busy working on other things) but before I upgraded to 3.1.1 I've had one author who kept adding his stories to one of my main categories too. I haven't checked since the upgrade and that author hasn't posted again yet but I'm guessing this is the same problem. This was on my main site, which hasn't been bridged or modded yet.
I've had this problem too. I have no mods or bridges. Just basic 3.1.1

Me too π
I've checked in MySql and it looks fine there for the Categories I wanted to lock and yet it's not stopping people from selecting the Category in add story.

It's a problem in the javascript. It'll be fixed with the next update.
