State the nature of your problem: I've checked the entire forum for my problem, but none of the solutions presented help. My files are CHMODED to 777, my PHP Safe Mode is off, and all of the STORIESPATH in the manageimages file are STORIESPATH.
But still I get this problem:

Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/animara/public_html/endless/user/manageimages.php on line 41
Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/animara/public_html/endless/user/manageimages.php on line 42
The files still upload but the message is there.
I have no idea what's wrong. And also I have problems deleting the files once they are uploaded as explained here: https://efiction.org/forums/index.php?topic=5670.0 .
I could really use some help.

The error is saying that it can't open the imagelist.js file. I can't think of any reason that would be except for the reasons you've already listed.
I finally found the problem. For some reason my imagelist.js was CHMODed to 644.
