Is there anyway other than going in and editing the php files to keep folks who aren't logged in from seeing various blocks?  I've looked around the Blocks and have searched this site for things relating to "block" and "invisible" and "hidden" and haven't found what I'm looking for.

I want my splash page to just have login/registration/lost password and possibly help and tos info displayed, nothing about the actual content of the site (recent additions, fandoms, etc.).

I.E.  I want www.triptychvids.com/index.php to act more like www.triptychvids.com/index.html.

Thanks!

You can use variables.php to turn blocks on and off.

if(!$loggedin) {
$blocks['recent']['status'] = 0;
}

Turns the recent block off if the person isn't logged in.

However, this DOES NOT remove the HTML surrounding that block.

Thanks!  While not ideal, it'll work.  πŸ˜€
