URL to your eFiction: http://www.dawn-breaking.com/
Version of eFiction: 3.5
Have you bridged eFiction, if so with what?: no
Version of PHP: 5.2.6
Version of MySQL: 4.1.22
Have you searched for your problem: yes
If so, what terms did you try: the error text, admin, can't log into admin
State the nature of your problem:

at the top of the page:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home2/dawn048c/public_html/admin.php on line 51

in the body of the page:

A fatal MySQL error was encountered.
You are currently running eFiction version 3.5.

Do you have a test account for us? yes penname: bella password: kiwi77

Anyone know what might have caused this?  I haven't made any changes to efiction recently.  I'm using a modified version of the murder template.

Thanks!

hmm...

Line 51 of admin.php is dealing with panels. Try reuploading the admin folder and the admin.php file that is outside of the admin folder, and hey for grins reupload the blocks/admin folder also. Maybe there's some file that is corrupted on the webhost.

Hm you said you haven't modified anything? Did you try installing any modules, mods recently by any chance? It's possible that something happened when you activated one of them, and it's causing this.

the only thing I have done is added the videos page on my site, which just has a bunch of youtube videos on it.  obviously, i accessed my admin functions to do that.  I haven't tried any mods or modules.  I was looking at the SMF bridge, but that was about a week ago, and i replaced all the original efiction files after that.  are there any other files I should try to return to the original efiction files?

thanks!

Susie

Hm I think the best solution at this point might be to try to re-upload all the files except for the docs, skins and install folder. It's possible that the files didn't get overwritten back to their original state. It happens to me sometimes. You might even want to try a different FTP editor. I personally recommend FileZilla. It would be a hassle to have to re-install eFiction. I also suggest that you make a backup of your site just in case.

still no luck after doing that.  is there a chance that something I changed in the theme messed it up?  I could try reuploading the original style sheet or .tpl files, maybe.

Hm that's odd. You may want to make sure that anyone else who has admin rights isn't changing your account.
