I've been trying to figure this out for some time today. I currently switched my efiction 2.0 to 3.0. Everything turned out fine but the submission page was missing. I tried to re-add the efiction 2.0 submission back in. (No surprise, didn't work.) I got rid of everything again and retried uploading 2.0 as a fresh re-install and then 3.0.

I came up with a similar (Did not delete anything from 2.0 yet.) problem. In the end, I followed the rules and got rid of the submission page from 2.0 again. So, it's gone again. What am I doing wrong?

Plus, authors/categories/series/characters/etc work fine except the genre/warning. They work but they have this show up to anyone who is logged in: /misc/25/000/060/570/6/user/web/notsoinnocent.bravehost.com/eFiction2withoutTinyMCE/eFiction2withoutTinyMCE/browse/class.php on line 51

I have reuploaded browse folder and class.php to make sure it wasn't the problem.

My site can be found at http://notsoinnocent.bravehost.com/eFiction2withoutTinyMCE/eFiction2withoutTinyMCE/index.php

Thanks for your time. efiction is a wonderful program, I'm just a dunce who doesn't get everything all the time. πŸ™„

Since you wiped your database you no longer have genres and warnings set.  Use your admin panel to re-add them.

Melanie,

Your website is really:

http://notsoinnocent.bravehost.com/index.php

It looks okay to me except you haven't added categories and such. Did you completely delete your efiction 2 site?

Wow, you guys are fast! I added genres and warnings to the data table but it still didn't do anything. I decided to delete 2.0 altogether (wasn't anything there in the first place. Just had problem with tinyMCE in 3.0 at first with my host so I had to use 2.0. Works now though.) Everything seems okay except for the stories but I was going to upload and change it to mysql tables instead.

I've been tinkering with it all day, just gave it a break a couple hours ago. Pretty much, it's resolved and I'll mark it as such once I figure out how to edit. Kudos on your very quick replies! πŸ˜€
