Is there a way for the admin to find out how many times a story, by another author, has been read? I've looked but have been unable to find anything about this.
Thanks,
Therio
Regular members can see this as a default. It's located on the story block listings.
listings.tpl
storyindex.tpl
Read: {count}

By a specific person? No.
π In clarrification, members can see how many times a story has been loaded in general, by all the members and visitors of an archive together. You can't see how many times one person loaded the page though.

Thanks for the help. After reading what you said, I took another look and the read count still wasn't showing up. Then I tried changing the skin from Zenlike, which I use as the default skin, and lo, the read count started showing up in the list of titles, so it appears to be an item missing from that skin.
Once again, thanks for the help.

Edit the listings.tpl of the skin and add the code Jan provided. You're probably trying to use a 2.0 skin. 2.0 didn't have the {read} variables. If such is the case, you probably have other problems with that skin.
Also, in future, when you submit a support request please follow the directions in the "Read Before Posting" sticky thread. Always include a link to the site in question, and if you're asking about a specific skin we also need the name of the skin.

I will do that, thanks. I am using the version of the skin that came with version 3 of Efiction.

Sorry about that. I did not even realize it was a skin problem until after getting your replies. In the future, whether it's a specific site related problem or not, I will post the site url.
FYI - The site is http://www.ffstories.net
Thanks again for the help.
