{SOLVED} Something wrong with Validation

My site is set up so that no stories need to be validated, that all members can post their stories without needing to be proofed. For some strange reason, one of my members gets the message saying that her and her story need to be validated by the admin before it will show up -- except she IS validated, and when I go to look in the Submissions section there is nothing there that needs validating. There's nothing there at all. I'm at a loss of what to do for this poor girl.

I have efiction version 3.3., site URL is http://www.wrong-side-of-the-tracks.com

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Keira

If you've got an open archive it shouldn't matter whether or not she as an author is validated or not.  Are you sure she's reading that correctly?  The default message is that it might go into a submission queue if the site admins are approving stories.  You didn't say what happens to her story.  If it's not going to the submission queue, is it appearing?  If so, she's just reading the message wrong.

The story is probably appearing in the archive after she submits. Did you check the Most Recent page for it?

She might have also deleted it by accident. Walk her through the submission process on AIM or YIM, and have her copy and paste the exact error message she gets, if she gets one.

You could also try signing up your own new account as a non admin, and testing it out yourself.

I actually have a different account as a non-admin and it worked for me when I tried. I don't know what happened but she got it to work now. I'm sure she was reading the message wrong, now that you mention it -- she would only ever tell me that it said that it needed an admin to validate it *Shrug*. It literally wasn't appearing anywhere, but anyway, she got it to work now. Thanks for the suggestions and help πŸ™‚
