URL to your eFiction: http://covermewithdreams.net/index.php
Version of eFiction: 3.1
Have you bridged eFiction, if so with what?: no
Version of PHP: can be found out from your host 4.3.10
Version of MySQL: can be found out from your host 5.0.24
Have you searched for your problem: (yes/no) yes
If so, what terms did you try: chapter problems, chapter links, uploading stories
State the nature of your problem: Copy and paste any errors you are receiving. Clicking on a story name doesn't take you to the story.  It takes you to a page with a link that says chapter 1.
Do you have a test account for us? no

My stories are loading fine, but when people go to read them, clicking on the story name takes you to a page with a link that says chapter 1.  Clicking on the chapter 1 link does take you to the story so I know the story is loading onto the site.  This doesn't seem to be a skin problem because I've looked at other sites using WritingPlus 3 and the single part stories on there work just fine.

I've double checked my stories folder and the CHMOD is 777.  I've also double checked the config.php just to be sure and that's 666.  I'm not sure where else to look to figure this out.

I'm pretty sure what you're talking about is intentional behavior. If you have story index turned on in the admin settings, then clicking on the title of the story will take you to a table of contents page, no matter if the story has one chapter or 100. The sites you are speaking of that are "using WritingPlus 3 and the single part stories on there work just fine" probably have story index turned off.

Yeah if story index is turned on it takes you to that page. On my site that is just a one part story when I'm plugging in the information where it says Chapter 1 I change it to either the title of the story or I use n/a (for non-applicable) because it's just a one shot story. Or you can leave it as the default chapter 1. If you turn off story index when they click on a link it will take them directly to the story (unless your user when they registered to your site opted to have story index turned on... users under account info can turn on tiny mce or turn on story index).

Oh and you might want to turn debug off, otherwise you might wonder why the top of your screen has weird things on it on it like <!--Modify... etc.

Oh, okay.  I didn't realize that.  I'll check into that.  Thank you!

Those are some good ideas.  Thanks for your help!

Yeah, I'll turn it back off.  It does make weird stuff show up on top.
