If i try to read a reveiw I get this message

Error: (145) Table './pretende_mp/mpfffanfiction_reviews' is marked as crashed and should be repaired
If i try to leave a reveiw i get this message
A fatal MySQL error was encountered.
Query: INSERT INTO mpfffanfiction_reviews (item, type, reviewer, review, rating, date, uid, chapid) VALUES ('52', 'ST', 'jacci', 'test', '-1', now(), '8', '52')
Error: (145) Table './pretende_mp/mpfffanfiction_reviews' is marked as crashed and should be repaired
looking at the tables i am getting a report that the _reviews table is 'in use' and i cannot browse it or edit it and if i try to browse it i get the it has crashed and needs to be repaired message
i tried running a repair in mysql and all tables came up ok except for that one whcih wasnt on the list at all
mysql skills are pretty basic and i dont knwo how to deal with this. If it can't be repaired, i have backups of the entire database, is it possible to just copy the one table in, or will i have to restore the whole database?
thanks in advacne for any advice.

This has now been solved. I wrote to the server and they ran a repair and restored the table from their end since it couldn't be fixed from mine. Yay for good hosts that do stuff like this π
