I just got an email from a member the other day that when she's logged in she can only read summaries and no full stories, but I have no idea why or how I can set these permissions.

Since you didn't tell us anything like where your website is, it makes it a bit difficult to figure out how to fix the problem.

I had started to fill that out, but then I figured this might just be a standard problem that didn't need that info, but I will fill that out tomorrow (it's 11.50PM here) if that could help 🙂

Have you bridged eFiction, if so with what?: I have no idea what that means
Version of PHP: no idea where I can find out, but I think php 5 or something, cause I needed that for other stuff
Version of MySQL: I checked when I filled this out in another board here, I think it was 5.0.16

Well, this may because I'm on Firefox, but when I view a story (for instance, here: http://backstreetheaven.com/viewstory.php?sid=8&ageconsent=ok&warning=2), the chapter links are white on a white background, so you can't see them until you hover. But I click and the story loads.
I'm wondering if all your ratings need age consents? Is it happening with all stories for her, or just some? The first thing that comes to mind is maybe she's got the age-selection set to 'no' and it's not allowing her to view stories? I can't think of something at at the minute that would cause issues for only one member.
I guess its FF yes, it should be a purple bg, but I'm gonna change the layout soon so I'll keep in mind to check ff
Yep I thought of that too, but no she she says it she tried several stories and none work, she only gets the summary. But if it's the age-selection thing, how could I fix it? Or what should I tell her to get it fixed?

Well, the age-selection thing is a complete guess. I've had problems in the past with the pop-ups where they don't appear and basically nothing happens, which is why I thought of it.
You'll need to know what stories she tried, see if they have the same categories, ratings, etc. or if they're all different. That would help prove/disprove the theory. Also it would probably help to know what browser she's using.
well I already tried something with those age consents (not sure what I did) after you posted it and apparently whatever I did worked, so thanks 🙂
