Is there a way to move or copy characters from category to category? I have a lot of sub-categories and it's a pain to have to type up the characters several times.
Why don't you make them sitewide?
The characters are not sitewide. They are only for the top categories. I just want to include them in the categories in the top categories without re-typing them. Is there a way to do this? I remember being able to do this in an older version, probably 2.
Use phpmyadmin. Edit the information of the characters table, I can't remember how but there should be posts on this forum about it already from people who tried to do the same thing. I do remember that -1 means sitewide, all other numbers correspond to the number of a category.
Whoever said nothing is impossible never tried slamming a revolving door.
