Hi,

Our member count is off by 8 and we can't seem to figure out how to correct it.
We've tried Archive Maintenance, but that didn't work at all. Are there any
other steps we can take to correct this?

Many thanks.

I count 707 members.

You list 25 members on each page here:

http://www.ik-eternal.net/authors.php?action=list

You have 28 pages full. 25 times 28 = 700.

The 29th page lists 7 members:

http://www.ik-eternal.net/authors.php?list=members&offset=700

So you have 707 members in your archive. 707 is what your homepage says:

Thanks for clearing that up!  We thought we did something wrong
because the action log had the number 715 beside the last person
to register and we were thinking >.< gah we screwed something up.

Just out of curiosity, can you tell us why those numbers appear beside
the names in the action log?

Many thanks.

That is their user number. When someone registers, gives them the number just after the last member. If your member number does not equal the number of members in your archive, then you've had people delete their accounts, probably. It's nothing to worry about.
