I am upgrading from 3.0 to 3.2 and I did the upgrade yet now it wants my database name, use, and pass and I don't remember then and forget where I put them.
Well, depending on what kind of access to the server you have you might be able get the database name and username. In our cPanel that can be found in the MySQL section. The password you might have to reset.
If you only have FTP access you might have to contact the server administrator.
I'm not an expert, but I don't remember it ever asking me for my database info during upgrade from 3.x to 3.x. Are you sure you're not running install.php on accident?
It should be in your config.php file. And Lyndsie is right, it shouldn't be asking for them on upgrade
Sounds like the config.php file got deleted. If I remember correctly, the upgrade in the install folder will look for a config.php file and if not, it will ask questions and generate one.
If you're going from 3.0 -3.2, there should be an upgrade.php file in the main script folder that will run and ask you if you want to proceed with the upgrade. That's my understanding of the new upgrading process.

So I might have just screw up big time... thankfully it's my practice site. I just copied everything in the 3.2 folder and pasted it into my 3.0 folder. It asked my if I wanted to replace and I said yes! Did I majorly screw up? π
I looked for an upgrade.php before I did this thinking that's the way it should be but I couldn't find one. π
Update: I somehow removed my config.php and had to just set up a new sql thing which someone did for me and for future knowledge I found the upgrade.php
I have my answer now and this can now be listed as solved or closed!
