State the nature of your problem: I've recently updated my site from version 2 to 3. My first problem is that when users click to add a favorite story, author, or series, the site doesn't save it.
It just says:
"Your Statistics
Favorite Authors
No results found."
And the favorite doesn't show up in any of their favorites lists. There's no error message either.
My second problem is the error message "Notice: Undefined index: view in /home/hostsvuf/public_html/admin/submitted.php on line 38" repeating several times on the admin's submissions page on all skins. It doesn't seem to interfere with any functioning though, as far as I can tell.

It has been a loooong time since i have used version 2 so i am not sure if you had to do this in that one but here is a few thigns you might want to check
Go to admin> panels and see if
Favorite Authors F - Favorites
Favorite Stories F - Favorites
{author}'s Favorites F - Favorites
Favorite Series F - Favorites
any of these are hidden or not hidden (I am not 100% sure about this needing all of them to be unhidden but it is worth a try)
and check in site settings that you have allowed favourites

Thanks for your help... but although those panels were hidden, unhiding them didn't fix the problem.
Also, I didn't mention this before, but in addition to the submissions error, some of the submissions appear blank when I go to review the submission... I don't know if that's related to the error or not though.
I don't know, but when members try to add favorites, make sure that they are hitting the SECOND submit button. You click 'Add to Favorites' to go to the page, write your comments. You have to click on the submit button on that page for the favorites to actually be saved. I don't know if that is the problem, but I've had plenty of users overlooking it.
Whoever said nothing is impossible never tried slamming a revolving door.
