I am receiving the following errors when submitting a test story (clean installation, twice), No bridge, standalone library and dedicated new database. PHP 5.2.8
Installtion and setup go fine. Once I or a test account submit a story I receive this error

I'm guessing you're using 3.5. If you search the first parts of those messages (ie "Use of undefined constant PENNAMEFIELD") you'll find the several threads regarding this problem. This is a helpful one: https://efiction.org/forums/index.php?topic=6677.0, down in the comments, as is this one: https://efiction.org/forums/index.php?topic=6674.
Also, you should make sure to fill out the support request template when you post, which provides necessary information: https://efiction.org/forums/index.php?topic=4121.0

I have made all the alterations as noted in the referred to threads. Twice.
It eliminated some of the errors but not this one

Try this thread as the error is similar to an error I had at some point and Hobert's trick had worked for me.

I have tried that. No luck.
I downloaded the older version (3.43) of this package and swapped in the story.php file, I am testing now but so far it seems that it may have worked.
Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
After a day of testing, replacing the story.php file with one from efiction v3.4.3 solved the problem without any alterations required.
This might be a first attempted solution for others and possibly saving the time of altering the file.
Just to warn you, people have seen problems with using the older file, particularly with coauthors. So keep a lookout for issues.

Yes, it was causing an error so I turned off the co-author option.
I had no choice, it was either use an older copy of story.php, or not use the library, none of the solutions on this forum solved the problem and I tried them all on two separate installations.
