Your categories, recent, and news blocks are not loading. Even on the default skin which should force them to load via the variables.php

You're probably going to have to check the database settings for those blocks.

Never mind- went into phpmyadmin > block_settings, and saw that Recent and News were missing their block_fille reference, so I entered those manually, and VOILA! There they are .....thanks a stack! 🙂
