I'm getting this error all of a sudden when trying to send email for validating stories.

I am thinking this must have something to do with my host... But I just wanted to make sure. This is my current email settings
admin email - aquaanimus@markedbytheboys.com
smtp host - mail.markedbytheboys.com
smtp user name- aquaanimus@markedbytheboys.com
I checked to make sure my mail boxes arnt full... and they are ok.

Try removing the smtp info and letting the script use the sendmail option.

Any idea why it stopped working all of a sudden? I know things can just happen like that for no reason - but I can't help but think I caused it somehow. It was working fine up till about a week ago or so.

Your host turned off the default smtp port. Probably to prevent spam.
