Have you bridged eFiction, if so with what?: I don't know what that is - so I don't think I did it.
Version of PHP: can be found out from your host I'm not sure. but its the latest one
Version of MySQL: can be found out from your host  not sure
Have you searched for your problem: (yes/no) yes
If so, what terms did you try: email
State the nature of your problem: Copy and paste any errors you are receiving.
Do you have a test account for us? no, but i can make one if necessary

I'm getting this error all of a sudden when trying to send email for validating stories.

I am thinking this must have something to do with my host...  But I just wanted to make sure.  This is my current email settings

admin email -  aquaanimus@markedbytheboys.com

smtp host - mail.markedbytheboys.com
smtp user name- aquaanimus@markedbytheboys.com

I checked to make sure my mail boxes arnt full... and they are ok.

Try removing the smtp info and letting the script use the sendmail option.

That worked!  Thank you! 

Any idea why it stopped working all of a sudden?  I know things can just happen like that for no reason - but I can't help but think I caused it somehow. It was working fine up till about a week ago or so.

Your host turned off the default smtp port.  Probably to prevent spam.
