OK... so I'm very new to efiction in general and skinning in particular, so forgive me if I'm asking an obvious question. I really like the skin "elegance" and would like to use it on my website, but when I select that skin the page title and tagline disappear. O_O I went into the header file and it looks like there are lines to enable both pieces of information to show up... so why don't they?
This is the site: http://www.chibis.net/hairfanfiction/index.php?skin=elegance
Help?

I believe Elegance uses a graphic (a/k/a a picture) as the head title. You need to create an image for your banner (yep, looked in the style.css file and for banner it uses "images/elegance.jpg"). You will want it to be about the same size dimension as the original jpg.
(Here's an ugly rendition on my site, which is why I don't have it as a default or even as a choice of layout: http://fics.babaca.org/index.php?skin=elegance)

First off, your page isn't ugly. You have far better graphic skill than I do. *nodnod* ^_^
Second, thank you! I was afraid it was something like that. *sigh* Guess I'll be mucking about with my graphics program tonight. ^_~
Thanks again!

P.S. Got it fixed! Thanks so much!
