I'd like to reorder the dropdown boxes so that "ratings" appears after the "classifications" (as raised in https://efiction.org/forums/index.php?topic=6534.0), however cannot locate where to do this in the browse.tpl

I believe they are {ratingmenu} and {classmenu} in browse.tpl. There's usually not much else in there so they should be pretty easy to find. Most skins don't have their own browse.tpl files, though, and thus default to the one in default_tpls. If the skin in question doesn't have a browse.tpl, copy the one from default_tpls into your skin's folder and edit it from there. (It's not really a good idea to edit the files in default_tpls.)
