I asked to my provider and he said that the server has GD library installed, so.. is there anythig else I must do to use it?
It might not be able to handle the color captcha characters. If so then go to Tammy's site (log in there) and download the older grayscale captcha and use that instead. Look for the file called Basic Captcha here:

(remember you have to be logged in or you will only see a blank page).
