Problem:

I have 3 ratings on my site: Senior Staff Only (which requiries age consent), Junior Officers and Crewmembers.  The latter 2 don't require age consent.  I can view stories without age consent messages.  But when I try to click on stories with a rating of Senior Staff Only, it gives me an error message at the bottom of the screen in the status bar that says "error on page" and doesn't do anything.  I've selected "yes' in my profile preferences when it asks if I'm of age.  I took the age consent off to see if that was the problem and it appears to be.  If all ratings are non-age consent they can be viewed.  Clearly, I want warnings for the Senior Staff Only stories.

If I take off "warning pop up" but leave "age consent required"  it allows me to go to the story.  If I leave those settings and change my preferences to 'no' for the age consent in edit preferences, the "error on page" reappears.  I had someone test this not logged in (they don't have an account) and they can't see it.

Any ideas/suggestions on why the stories can't be viewed?

I don't have an account either, but when I click on a Senior Staff Only, in the task bar I see the wording, "Javascript:If Confirm (By clicking I swear by clicking ths that I am 18 or older... etc."

But there is no pop up window for me to click Ok or Cancel at all. Do you have pop-up unchecked?

Yeah I get the javascript message and then the "error on page".  I have the warning pop checked.  Age consent required (when you edit the ratings) is currently unchecked.  Under user settings I also have it set to "no" when it asks to have warning pop ups only once.  That doens't make a difference.

Remove the single quotes from 'yes' or change them to double quotes.

Thank you Tammy.  That did it.  Not sure why I didn't think of that.
