We can't see the CSS Zen skin so I think Lyndsie is basing her advice on the other skins we can see (which seem to be working).
Are you trying to add the extra items to the footer though? What does the footer.tpl look like?

Every skin has their own header. The one Lyndsie was looking at was probably Industry. All my skins have hardcoded headers using universal links.
Nadia's (Dark Grey) and Tammy's (CSS Zen) both use menu content.
Carissa, I think the Hiei skin was based on CSS Zen.
(On a totally unrelated note, it looks like you haven't activated all the blocks necessary to use the other skins. Make sure you do that before you open the site to the public.)

Oops, wasn't paying enough attention, there. I guess I was thinking Industry was a modification - I've never done anything with CSSZen. If it's a menu content thing, then you should only need to go into Admin > Blocks, then the Options link in the Menu row and change it in there. You may also have to add the entries to variables.php (though this isn't always necessary). I think you've already done this.

I'm looking at your Hiei skin and it looks like the three you were trying to add before are working. There are two links that aren't: credits and rules. These probably don't have the proper URLs specified in page links. I didn't click on every one, though, just hovered to display the URL, because the red/gray contrast was a little hard on my eyes.
