I know I must be aggravating eveyrone with my constant questioncs but id rather that than ruin my site by goofing.
I have two questions:
1) Is it possible to post a skin request with a description of what i am looking for? I will gladly give kudos to whomever can design something i am looking for and i will link back to them.
2.) How do i implement the skin once i have it? Do I add the folder to the skins folder in the directory?
Yes you may request a skin, but don't be surprised if no one responds. You can also commission a skin from one of the skin designers out there.
Yes, you add the skin to the skin folder.
May I suggest you read the wiki. A lot of your questions are answered there.
I was thinking that it might work if i make a copy of one of the skin folders and edit it that way..Woudl that work?
Honestly I think you would be better off looking at some of the skins in our skin download section and modifying one of them to your needs. In admin you can have the skin "turned off" while you work on it. You would still be able to see the skin as admin (it's only turned off to users at your website), and make alterations to the skin as you like.
