I just upgraded from 2.0.7 to 3.2.1 and am working with a duplicate archive before I perform the upgrade on the live archive.
http://www.sinful-desire.org/archive2/index.php
The only problem I can detect so far is that on the index page the list of site info stats, like the # of authors, titles, word count, reviews, newest member, etc. is all blank. I'm planning on using Kali's "edgey" layout (which I named edgey_test) for my different skins, so please check with that one. I wasn't positive, but I'm assuming this is a skin conflict.
I have gone to admin - blocks - info - and set it to active and have it set as a chart. I then went to archive maintenence - and re-calculated site statistic and recalculate reviews, both of which say the action was successful. But nothing is coming up.
I searched around for similar threads but didn't see one that addressed this problem. I'm working by just using the admin and not variables.php, but that didn't get get the stats to come up.
ETA: I went into the mwSQL database and looked at fanfiction_stats, which I think is the file that has the stats info and saw that it says "No Index Defined!" I think this is where the issue is?

My _stats table have the same No index defined and are workign fine, so it is more likely a skin issue.
In that skin, in your stats block, do you have {info_content} and {info_title} in the index.tpl?
Also, check your _blocks table and make sure that your info field has a 1 in the block_status
why is nothing ever easy?

It's empty on all the skins. This would indicate it's a site issue to me, not a skin issue. I would give playing with the variables.php a try though, just make sure the block is set to 1 or 2
Skins made by Kali are no longer supported!
The block isn't empty though, just the information. Seems like when you updated it didn't calculate the site stats and insert them into the table. Use Admin->Archive Maintenance and re-calculate the site statistics.
OK, well I'm going to post what I have in the places that everyone mentioned because I don't see anything missing.
This is in my index.tpl file for the leftindex:
<div class="block">
<div class="title">{info_title}</div>
<div class="content">
Are you @ Live Journal? Then stay updated at the <a target="_blank" href="" http://www.livejournal.com/community/sinful_updates">Sinfu l" Desire Updates Community!</a><br /><br />
{info_content}<br />
{login_content}<br />
<b>Who's Online:</b><br />
Guests: {guests}<br />
Members: {onlinemembers}<br /><br />
<b>Change Your Layout:</b>
{skinchange_title} {skinchange_content}
<br />
</div></div>
Variables has this listed for the info block:
$blocks["info"]["status"] = 2;
The blocks_config file does have it set to 1.
And I did go to Admin->Archive Maintenance and re-calculate the site statistics. It said "the action was successful" but nothing showed up when I went back to the index.
If it would help to login and test it out, I have a UN: test, PW: test available.
Thank you all!

I don't know if this matters or if it's correct the way it is, but I have a"sitekey" field and then this in the field: `sitekey`SELECT * FROM `fanfiction_stats` WHERE 1
So I manually went in to the fanfiction_stats and added in the numbers to the sitekey field. I don't know if that was the best solution, but it worked in giving me the numbers on the main page. And they are going up correctly when I add new fics, I'm just worried about future issues.

Hey how did you get it fixed? I'm having the same problem!

I just had to go into mySQL database and add in everything manually. It will tell you in various places how many authors, titles, stories, etc. there are and I had to type in most of the numbers manually.
My author count is actually off by 1 for some reason, and I can't figure out how to get that corrected, but other than that, it worked fine!
