Review Response Link gets error

Problem #1:

When clicking on the above link in email notifying me that an author has responded to a review, I get the following error:

A fatal MySQL error was encountered.
Query: AND review.reviewid = '397' ORDER BY review.reviewid DESC LIMIT 0,20
Error: (1064) You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'AND review.reviewid = '397' ORDER BY review.reviewid DESC LIMIT 0,20' at line 1

Note:
I realize that there is a pre-existing topic, however, it is almost 1 year old and marked as Solved with no mention of  what the solution or actual reason for the error was.

Problem#2:

Category Links in the "Categories Block" - do not take you to the individual Category page.  Instead, they link to another Category listing from which you then have to click a category link again - to get to the specific category.
eg: Go to http://www.escape-ism.com/ourstories
and click on any category in listed in the left sidebar Category Block.
This is where you will end up: http://www.escape-ism.com/ourstories/browse.php?type=categories&catid=6

Note:
Unknown if this problem existed prior to upgrading to eFiction  3.4.2. 
I don't recall coming across it before, although I may have...  and just don't remember - and it was called to my attention by one of our members yesterday.

Any assistance I can get with these things would be greatly appreciated!
