I think I really shot myself in the foot! I entered maintenance mode and subsequently forgot my password!
I cannot retrieve it by e-mail because of maintenance mode and cannot switch out of maintenance mode.
Of course, the passwords are encrypted in the database so I can't dig it up that way.
Any ideas?
No, but you can turn maintenance mode off in the database by editing the field in phpMyAdmin. Change 1 to 0. Then you can request a new password.
You should be able to change the setting in your database via the settings table in phpmyadmin to turn your maintainence mode off.
In your settings table, find the maintainence field and set the value to 0
EDIT: ooops looks like Carissa beat me to it by a few minutes...lol

You can change your password through the database. In the authors table, find your acccount and click edit. Type your new password in the password field and then in the "Functions" column choose md5. Hit submit and it will be changed for you.
