When i log in to efiction and go to the forums i dont stay logged in..
I also tried logging in through SMF(from the SMF page) and then going to efiction and going back to SMF and not staying logged in too.
how do i fix this?

update: Okay i tried with IE and it stays logged-in but with FF and opera it doesn't.. how do I go around this? thanks!

It's probably not the script if it's happening both ways. It's probably something either in your browser or in your server configuration. If you want further help, go read the instructions for asking for support in the "Read This Before Posting" thread.

I registered for the site and am staying logged in just fine. Check your browser settings and make sure you have cookies turned on.
I just noticed this too, yet I stay logged in on all other sites that I'm a member of. I am logged into smf, and efiction, yet after some time, efiction logs me out, even with 'remember me' checked. All other sites still have me logged in, including smf, yet efiction kicks me out. Is it a cookie problem because it's bridged? I ask because I have an unbridged efiction and I am permanently logged in there with no problems, only the bridged site is a problem.
I think it's actually an SMF bug. Try logging in using the SMF login page, and not the efiction login or the quick login.

But I do log in using the SMF login page in SMF, then I go to efiction where I have to log in again, which sends me back to the forum, and then I have to link back to efiction... then after a while it logs me out. Every other site I am on is still logged in, the only thing that doesnt stay logged in is efiction.
I've checked the 'remember me' box and tried it unchecked but the same thing happens.
Is there another login page I should have?

I am wondering if it has anything to do with being already logged into smf *shrug*
for SMF it's at
Admin>Server Settings (left side bar)>then change Forum URL
for efiction:
Admin>settings>Change Site URL 🙂
