Have you searched for your problem: Yes. Someone https://efiction.org/forums/index.php?topic=4514.0 had a simliar problem there, but someone later stated the problem was fixed without giving any information as to what they *did*. π₯
Other Notes: Sorry to be back so soon. T___T
State the nature of your problem: So, I finally got logged in and started adding information to the site. By chance, I clicked the 'Most Recent' link up top, and was kind of shocked to see this:
A fatal MySQL error was encountered.
Query: SELECT count(sid) FROM fanfiction_stories as stories WHERE validated > 0 AND FIND_IN_SET(recent, stories.classes) > 0 AND updated > '2007-02-26 00:00:00'
Error: (1054) Unknown column 'recent' in 'where clause'
Categories, Series, Titles all give me the same error. What did I do this time, and how do I fix it? X_____X
It looks like your database didn't get uploaded properly. You seem to be missing some tables. Depending on how much work you've already done, you might want to delete the database and just start over.
*pulls hair* Well, I deleted everything and tried again. This time, I was smart enough to just do gibberish testing.
Same error. When I installed, it green-checked everything, both this time and last time. I have no idea what to do. T____T
Oh, my god. *headdesk*
I think I figured out what I did. I read the notice about 'type' classifications when I was here earlier with another problem. And then I totally forgot it.
You'll never guess what I had as one of my classifications.
*DIES*
Well, at least I got my fair amount of punishment; I deleted an entire night's worth of work before I figured it out. Ouch. π₯
